Agkabel/EMV cables have been designed for connection of AC Variable speed drives and incorporates an alumini-um/mylar tape plus a tinned copper braid screening. 6mm2 and above have 3 split earth cores for optimum performanceagainst low and high freguencies (RFl) and electromagnetic (EMl) so that RFl/EMl may not react with other devicesoutside the plant The screenina should be earthed at both ends usina EMC compatible alands that ensure contactaround the circumference of the cable screening.
