Agkabel/EMV cables have been designed for connection of AC Variable speed drives and incorporates an alumini-um/mylar tape plus a tinned copper braid & split earth cores for optimum screening performance of low and highfreguencies (RFl) and electromagnetic (EMl) so that RFl/EMl may not react with other devices outside the plant.Thescreening should be earthed at both ends using EMC compatible glands that ensure contact around the circumferenceof the cable screening.
